Dr. Hilary shares her story with us!

'Even if you think it can't get better, your body is waiting to show you the way'

I grew up a top gymnast and acrobat, and because of that I am no stranger to Chiropractic care. I needed the work to keep my body flexible and to treat and prevent injuries. My dedication to my sport saw me rise up and eventually train with international coaches to prepare for the world championship campaign, I was 16 years old.

Unfortunately life threw some curveballs which impacted my mental health and I developed severe anxiety alongside chronic health issues. I was introduced to a holistic chiropractor who helped me regain my physical, biochemical and emotional wellbeing through the use of applied kinesiology, neuro-emotional technique and other holistic chiropractic techniques.

The impact on my health was so great that I decided that once my sports career was finished I would dedicate my studies to become a holistic chiropractor.

I do this work because there was a time where I thought that nothing could help me and that I would never break through my mental and physical limitations. I have since found my place working with chronic health and pain conditions and working with people affected by trauma and stressful experiences. I use the tools and techniques that helped me to help others heal from past stressful experiences, find the answers they need to overcome chronic conditions and to breakthrough and live the life they are most aligned with.

Since opening Luminous Body with my partner Dr. Jaxson I have found new ways to deliver on my purpose, through workshops, talks and (coming soon) retreats. My own healing journey has taught me that even when you think it couldn't possibly get better, your bodies innate ability to heal is just waiting to show you the way.
